I'm going to school to become an elementary school teacher and have an absolute passion for children. I was in the Elementary Teacher Education program at MJC which earned me an A. A. in Liberal Studies (Teacher Prep.), a second A. A. in Social and Behavioral Science (Child Development), and a Communication Studies certificate. I'm now currently at CSU Stan pursuing my B. A. in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Exceptional Children and Youth. I love seeing the things that I've learned in my education play out in the children that I'm around as well as using the skills that I've gained. I've been babysitting/nannying professionally for the past 9 years and have been with my current family for around 5. I have experience with children ranging in age from infancy-13 years. I have my own car and multiple references. I'm looking for a new position because the family I'm currently with has kids that are getting older so they're using me less and have given me their blessing to move on.

I have known Nicole for many years. She is a very organized, dependable, positive and thoughtful person. She is always ready to handle any challenge that comes her way with grace and grows from those experiences. In the times she has worked for me she has supervised multiple children at once. It is truly a joy to watch her work with children, she communicates so well with them and really brings out their best. The positivity and encouragement she provides really goes a long way.
