About Nicole

I homeschool my kids. We've studied a rigorous course of subjects including science (general, biology, physics, chemistry), history (US, world, ancient), math (pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry), English (American Lit, Shakespeare, classics) & structured writing (exposition, persuasive essays, 5 paragraph essays, descriptive and creative). I went to college prep. schools & approach homeschool with the same rigor. I volunteer at the local Civil Air Patrol where I am a Testing Officer. I work with youth (12-18) and help to develop aerospace, writing, drill & leadership. I'm happy to jump in and help guide your student (ages 8-18) through whichever academic struggle they're dealing with right now. In my spare time, I like to cook and read. One thing you should know about me is I like to have fun but I also expect a lot of my students. I expect them to study hard and to ask questions when they do not know or understand something.
