I started working in a group home facility caring for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in 2018. I absolutely fell in love with my career. I have always had a nurturing and loving nature, and after living with my Aunt that has Down Syndrome, I learned that there is no other career for me than caregiving. As I grew through this career, I have been a house coordinator, an Assistant Director caring for 14 individuals at once with a range of ages, and recently working with a woman that has Muscular Dystrophy in her home. I love putting a smile on the faces of the people I work for. I am silly and light hearted in nature and get along with just about everyone I come across. I am patient, a good listener, hard-working, and I always go above and beyond. I am a quick learner, and always willing to learn new things.
