I have been caring for children for over 15 years. For the last 4+ years I have been working at a school for special needs children as an instructional aide in a classroom. I help support the students and tailor the lessons according to the child's developmental stage. The children I work with range in age from 4 years to 10 years old. I have experience with a few different disabilities but most of my experience is with autism spectrum disorder. I love what I do and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
