I'd describe my personality as friendly, hardworking, and reliable. I've enjoyed taking care of both my grandmother, and a current client, helping them stay in their own home, reading to and listening to their life stories, and providing companionship. I take satisfaction in helping them achieve personal fitness goals and helping them with computer skills. I enjoy caring for their pets (I am allergic to cats). I have an Associates degree in Culinary Arts, and a current food handlers card. I have a CPR certification. I enjoy planning and preparing light meals for seniors. I'm looking for a job that helps seniors stay in their homes, providing compassionate care, light housekeeping and adding to their quality of life. I started caring for my grandmother a year ago, in ways of helping her stay connected with her friends. My top skills include listening and conversing with seniors, planning and meal prep, and helping them achieve quality of life goals.
