I am a senior in high school and I am planning on attending a four year college. Through high school I participated in the Best Buddies program because since I was in Elementary school I have loved working with kids/adults with a wide range of abilities. It has taught me a lot about the world and society as a whole. In addition, I competed on the Varsity cheer for 4 year and the gymnastics team for 2 years. I was very blessed to be introduced to child care at a young age as a mother's helper. When I was in sixth grade families on my street I helped out with began referencing me to families and for the past few years I have met so many families and wonderful kids! I personally love being a babysitter/nanny because of the relationships with he children you develop when you become a part of their lives. It has always brought me joy learning all about the kids and playing and helping them in anyway.
