Hi! I am a current online writing, reading, and comprehensive reading tutor for a first grader whom I started out teaching in person when she was five. Because of moving out of state, I had to start teaching her online. We have been enjoying ourselves, and she is doing great and improving in every area. If you would like, her mother is a reference, and I definitely have more references available with toddler through elementary students being the most recent for the past year in-a-half. I am a former online teacher for teaching English as a Second Language for five years with mainly elementary students, a former Christian school Elementary teacher for first and second graders for three years, and I also taught middle and high-school English for three years. I truly enjoy seeing children who struggle in these areas have fun as they improve in listening, reading, comprehending, spelling and writing. I am in a Central time-zone and have Monday and Tuesday evenings available.

Nicole is the most patient, selfless, and caring teacher I know. She was firm with her teachings and boundaries and my children followed her. My kids were 1 and 2 at the time. She has a way with little ones and sees them for all their abilities. She looks for ways to teach any child at any age in lessons from academic, biblical, creative, social emotional, and cognitive skills. She uses materials that are age appropriate and her charismatic energy and love for teaching shines through igniting the passion in your children to love learning. Aside from being an excellent teacher, Nicole is a genuine, true, honest person who my girls look up to (and so do I). She showed up ready with her lesson plan and routine. She always brought her own materials and food (even though I told her she could use things in the home). She was conscious and respectful-intentional in every way. Nicole is an exceptional teacher, provider, and tutor. I highly recommend her for any teaching or shepherding job.
