Hello! I am a trauma-informed childcare provider who dedicates my work to making a safe space for children to flourish. I have over two decades of experience working with people of all ages, with long term placements including ages newborn to ninety-three. What makes me different is that I consider this position to be an educators position, as well as a position of fun. I bring my own materials that primarily surround emotional integration and intelligence. ----- My approach is rooted in empathy, somatic integration, and mindfulness. These traits help me recognize the unique needs of each family I work with to foster resilience, trust, and a sense of security in all members. I've even been known to train a dog or two. I believe in play as an opportunity to teach emotional intelligence, differentiation, and the principles of gentle upbringing. There, we can explore vulnerability, boundaries, critical thinking, social awareness, and inclusion of diversity.
