About Nicole

I am a caretaker at heart. My mom was a nursery school teacher and I volunteered in her class during high schools. I was a camp counselor every summer from high school to college. As a graduate student, I taught a sixth grade special education class while earning my education certification, and upon earning my certification, got a permanent position teaching eighth grade English Language Arts. I taught ELA for 14 years before taking a position teaching a middle school Financial Literacy Course. When I moved from NJ to PA in 2016, I did not return to work right away so I could make sure my two children were well adjusted and also took time to care for my ailing parents. During this time I also cared for my infant niece. My parents have since passed, my niece is school-aged, and my children are now adults, so I am currently teaching a Pre-K-first grade acting class at Light Camera Acting. I am a cook, artist, child-care giver, teacher, and lover of animals!
