My son is on the spectrum and has aspergers syndrome, so I have worked with autistic children and adults all of my motherhood. Also my other son has adhd and could write a book about it. I have personally worked with a few adults that have had downs syndrome and was the manager of them for a short while. They are beautiful people. My nephew has cerebral palsy so I am also very familiar with this. Each child or adult is special in their own way and a disability does not make them any different then the rest, just more lovely. I just got my PCA/ CFSS license too, so I am good to go there
