I have a variety of child care experiences. I have worked for a local nanny service, at day care centers, as a private nanny, and volunteered at a child abuse prevention center during college. I have experience caring for children of all ages, but have the most experience with newborns to 4 yr olds. My sister lives in Truckee and was a single mother to my 9-year-old niece (K ) and I was always a big part of her life. In February of 2020 she was removed from my sister (who has addiction issues) by CPS and placed in foster care. K lived with me for 10 months then was returned to my sister's care for a year. Unfortunately she relapsed and I was granted permanent guardianship of K in June 2022. So while I'm not a biological mother, I have been a parent to K for 3 yrs. I bring a fun energy and love to do outdoor activities and arts and crafts with kids. I've lived in Kings Beach for 19 years and love everything Tahoe. I'm vaccinated for COVID, TDAP, and flu.

Nicole has cared for our daughter H. from 3 months old to over 2 years old. She is the most amazing nanny we could ever have hoped for! She is not only responsible, extremely reliable, on time, and safe, Nicole is H.’s best friend, and she has become our trusted friend as well. Nicole has bounced and soothed our baby to sleep, read her countless books, taught her how to play respectfully with other nanny-share kids, and most recently helped us get H. through potty-training. Nicole is amazingly fun- she makes eating fun, she’s the master of distraction, she jokes and swings H. around. If I come home from work early, I hear them giggling together in the living room as I come up the stairs. And my house is somehow magically less messy than when I left. Our H. is now starting preschool, so Nicole is available for your family! You can trust Nicole with the most precious little being(s) in your life.
