I have previously helped take care of a family friends great grandma. She was 105 years old and needed around the clock care. We split days into shifts between all of us. I would make her dinners and desserts. Bathe her, help her use the toilet or change her diapers if needed. I also took care of my 32-year-old disabled best friend due to a horrible car accident. She had many medications I had to give her. She had a tracheotomy tube that needed to be suctioned cleaned and changed. She had a feeding tube where I had to give her regular feedings 4 times a day. My friend I took care of was not mobile at all. I had to bathe her, change her diapers, dress her and so on. I have such a Passion for helping the disabled and the elderly. It is such a rewarding feeling knowing I am helping someone who can not help themselves. I always do my best to make sure the ones I take care of are always happy no matter what.
