16 years of experience, I believe you learn with experience not a piece of paper. I currently work as a CNA with a local hospice company traveling facility to facility. Before I worked with them I worked in a few facilities, but also worked in home care for approximately 13 years. I prefer to work 1 on 1 and give someone the attention, understanding, and patience someone in the elderly community deserves. I have seen too many go without family or friends visiting and they just kind of give up. Personal note: I am a single mother and everyone I know lives in the twin cities. I have a 6-year-old that lives with me full-time. If you don't mind me bringing her with, I would be available for some weekend shifts, otherwise just M-F and I have to pick her up from daycare between 6-8 p.m. My availability says until 6pm, but can work a little later if needed.
