I'd describe my personality as compassionate, flexible, and reliable. I like caring for seniors because it helps show my appreciation for all they've done. Also, it allows me to help them keep as much as their independence as possible. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help a senior LIVE life! I want to help them shop, exercise / walk, and visit friends/family. I want them to know they aren't a burden! I started caring for seniors about 10 - 12 years ago. I was hired to care for a senior with alzheimer's from Detroit, MI, every summer for 3 years. Her daughter in law hired me, knowing I was the caregiver for my grandmother. In my spare time, I like to travel / cruise. One thing you should know about me is I'm open-minded and willing to learn new things. My skills include patience, attention to detail, and flexibility.
