I've taken care of my mom on various occasions. She is in her 80s and a very active senior. However, she broke her hip at one point and I was her caretaker, however I didn't do anything highly medical. We had professionals for that, however I helped her with making sure everything was going correctly at the rehab center, made sure she got what she needed and made sure her home was taken care of, including her cats (one of whom needed to be pilled). I've taken her to medical appointments when necessary.
