My husband and I just joined Care.com a few weeks ago, and as a FTM, I was really nervous about leaving my baby with someone other than family...even if it was just for a date night. I came across Nicole's profile and decided I definitely wanted to reach out to her. She responded the same day. After a few messages back and forth, I asked Nicole if she was available to meet with my husband and I anytime in the next week. She gave me the option of a few different days, and we agreed to her coming that Sunday. From the moment I opened the door, I got a wonderful feeling about her. She has such a warm personality and immediately spoke to our baby. I really didn't expect to find someone like Nicole. I immediately felt comfortable in setting up a date for her to come sit for us. She was on time and made sure she asked any questions about our child's care that I might had forgotten to mention. She also told me numerous times to call or text as much as I wanted. As a mother herself, she understood the worry that goes along with leaving your child. I felt very comfortable leaving, and within a half hour, I received a picture and text with an update on how well things were going. I can't even explain how at ease that made me. The texts and pics continued here and there throughout the evening. We were SO happy with Nicole and strongly recommend her to anyone that wants a warm and caring sitter...who obviously has a passion for children...and an understanding of being a mother herself. Can't wait to have Nicole over again!
