I've worked with special children in my church's Children's Ministry in group settings where I was a teacher or one-on-one settings with those who needed more attention. I've also taken courses on exceptional children and special needs as an Elementary Education major at Roosevelt University. I've worked with families on a temporary basis, through my church, that have children with special needs, ADD, food allergies, social/emotional/behavioral issues and cognitive delays.
