For the last 5 years, I have been a special education teacher. Prior to that, I worked as a behavioral aide within schools, and as a behavioral skills guide. My most recent experience was working in an elementary Social Emotional Learning classroom (students with behavior disabilities). Before that, I worked as a resource teacher in a middle school. Within these roles, I have worked with students with diverse abilities. Areas of experience include autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, behavior disorders, operational defiance disorder, health impairments, developmental delays, etc. I am truly passionate about each child having the ability to meet their full potential given the right tools and support.
