About Nicole

I am an educator and writer with 10 years experience in the classroom and as a curriculum writer. I have significant experience as a French, ELA and Social Studies tutor. After completing undergrad with a degree in Education, I was the Lead Teacher in a French immersion preschool. I also taught academic French classes at after-school programs and for adults. I transitioned out of the classroom to become a curriculum writer and I developed ELA and Social Studies curriculum for The New York Times Learning Network, The New York Public Library and Curriculum Associates. I enjoy the experience of working with children at the home because of the unique opportunity to customize lesson plans to their interests and learning styles. I try to make learning hands-on and engaging to the individual learner. I enjoy collaborating with parents and teachers to make the learning experience as meaningful as possible.
