As a lover of all creatures, I have been taking care of animals my whole life starting as a child and throughout my adult years. For the past 20 years, I have had two dogs since they were puppies. One was a brindled mutt that I brought home from Belize while living there as a teacher and Peace Corps volunteer. He recently died after 15 wonderful years together. I also have a 10-year-old black Labrador. My6-year-old son and I live in the Presidio so our days are spent walking our dog and exploring the beautiful landscapes where we live. Every summer and holiday break for the past 4 years, I have taken care of 2 smaller dogs in Alameda for 2-3 weeks at a time while staying at their home.
