I have always had a passion for helping others! My friends and family would describe me as loving, happy and full of fun. I am a very patient, reliable, responsible, and a hard working person! My family moved from California to North Carolina. Before moving, I cared for my mother-in-law helping her daily with a variety of personal care needs. My most recent clients were a couple in their 90's with complications from a stroke and dementia. I assisted helping them with bathing, meals, medication reminders, physical therapy stretches, light housekeeping, wheelchair assistance and companionship. (they moved out of the area to be near family) I truly love what I do and over the many years as a personal care assistant, I have been able to grow and advance in my knowledge. Nicole has been caring for my mother for a week and has been doing a great job. I appreciate her punctuality, focus on Mom's needs, and that she gives Mom a sense of adventure by getting her out and about. Nicole exceeded my expectations, but has certainly set the bar high for other caregivers Mom may need.
