About Nicole

I am looking for a family that I can support in helping their child/children learn and grow. I have 6 years of experience working in the professional world and would like to transition to helping families directly. I have worked various jobs where I cared for people of all ages with/without disabilities. My most recent job was working as a life skills PA working with kids grades K-8th with disabilities for 4 years. In my current job as a certified behavioral technician, I have been working in home and in clinic with children with autism for the past 2 years. I have worked closely with teachers, OTs, speech therapists, and BCBAs, and learned so much about how to help children grow. I have helped kids learn to communicate verbally, work through challenging behaviors, expand their food selectivity, make new friends, cope with emotions/sensitivities, learn about the world, and more. Now I want to find a way to take all that I have learned to help families in any way I can.
