About Nicole

I have been a classroom teacher in Florida for 20 years. I taught SPED PK for six years, K-5 for six years and Art for PK-8 for 8 years. In January of 2024 I left the classroom due to large class sizes and other challenges public school education has. In September I relocated to Los Angeles and have been looking for tutoring/child care opportunities. I miss teaching and would now like to focus on small groups and one on one learning. I'm looking for a job that provides me with flexibility and the opportunity to share my knowledge. I am trustworthy and reliable and have always been able to build great rapport with my students. I am adept at teaching all subjects at the elementary level but my strengths lie in reading, writing and science. In my spare time I am usually painting, watching movies or traveling.
