More than 5 stars if I could! Finding someone that you trust and can depend on to assist with the care of an aging parent is overwhelming and stressful. To Nicol this is not just a paycheck - she is building relationships!! Nicol worked with us previously and when she left the state to continue her education we were sad, but we stayed in touch while she was gone and when she moved back, I couldn't have been happier. I've had my share of caregivers that are content to do as little as possible-Nicol is NOT that person. She brings a smile to the face of my mom every day they are together. She is dependable, hardworking, conscientious, super friendly, and fun! I am thrilled to have her back with us (and so is my mom). It saddens me that the time has come to move mom to a safer (no stairs) and more supportive environment, but I feel better knowing that Nicol has helped keep mom living with me as long as possible and that she brought laughter and joy back into the days of an elderly dementia woman. I consider Nicol a part of my family now, and I know you will not be disappointed bringing her into yours.
