About Nicky

I'd describe myself as outgoing, reliable, attentive to detail. I enjoy helping kids grasp challenging concepts. It's rewarding to see the spark when gain confidence & pride in what they accomplish. I'm looking for a job that I'm passionate about & where I can use skills I've acquired over 26 years teaching. I also want flexibility & variety. I tutored before I had children. However, I haven't tutored since then outside of teaching me job. In my spare time, I like to watch my sons play sports, watch sporting events, go to movies & read, I genuinely strive to be the best at everything I do. I hold myself to high standards whether it's my teaching job, cleaning house, projects I work on at home or for my kids, as a parent, etc. I can be a perfectionist for my own performance, but I'm incredibly understanding & patient when it comes to others' performances/quality of work. I don't expect perfection from others. My skills include grammar, writing, reading comprehension.
