I'd describe my personality as easy going caring and motivated I'm looking for a job that I can feel useful in and I'm helping someone get through their everyday tasks I started caring for seniors in 1985 I took a course at NCC in home healthcare I worked for an agency in Norwalk Ct I also took care of my ailing grandparents I have also done and still doing home care on my own In my spare time, I like to relax but I am pretty much on the go most of the time I help my aunt out with groceries and laundry I have two older grandsons that live with me and I have a dog I spend time with One thing you should know about me is I like to be drama free I'm easy going patient honest and kind My skills include I'm no longer certified but I have trained in CPR and First Aid I am efficient around the house and the kitchen can help with bathroom needs I can work with people that are using canes walkers wheelchairs etc. I have also worked with dementia patients
