About Nichole

I have always felt personally responsible for the welfare of others. I have also always loved caring for kids and they seem to love me as well. There is no greater responsibility than caring for a child, and that is something that I feel very strongly about. I have been caring for children younger than I, since I was about 7 or 8 years old. I have always felt responsible for the safety and well being of those in vulnerable situations. From the age of 7 to 10, I cared for two boys, ages two and five. I rarely received monetary compensation, and did not feel entitled to it. I have had various other shorter term jobs through the years. I have cared for my three nieces and nephews for the last seven years. I feel great passion for the privilege of being a positive influence in a child's life. I majored in social work at Ferris State University, which I believe has helped hone my skills of empathy, honesty, and professionalism, as well as communication and patience.
