I'd describe my personality as family oriented, loving and caring. I have 4 kids as well as 6 grandkids and 1 on the way. I like caring for seniors because there was a time when they once cared for us, it's now their time to be cared for properly. I'm looking for a job that will be flexible, yet steady, while allowing me to care for their loved ones I started caring for seniors when I was 14 years old. I got my CNA at 19, then started having children of my own and took some time off to raise my family, then I went right back to senior care once my children were in school. My skills include Alzheimer's, dementia, ALS and hospice care. I also have experience as a behavioral health technician as well as medication technician.

The universe brought us Nichole when my Mom was first showing signs of what we'd later learn was ALS, after my father had been diagnosed with terminal cancer just a few months earlier. Nichole was the most caring, most compassionate caregiver we could have asked for throughout every stage of my Mother's disease, and in the end was the only non-family member my Mom trusted to care for her. Nichole was dedicated, reliable, knowledgeable, and worked to keep an open line of communication with the family (none of whom lived close by). We grew to trust her implicitly, and are forever thankful that she stayed with Mom and our family during a beyond difficult time (even in the end, when Mom lost all movement, including the ability to talk). When we lost Mom to the disease, Nichole stayed on to care for Dad until we could make other arrangements so that he'd be a bit closer to family. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Nichole- would highly recommend without hesitation!
