About Nicholas

I've always been interested in the growth and development of children. When I first went to college, I toyed around with the idea of becoming a teacher for some time, as I've had many teachers and mentors who have shaped my developmental growth in a positive way over the years. I have experience overseeing groups of children with both younger family members, and also at a summer fencing workshop where I utilized my 10 years of fencing experience to coach and mentor younger children. My approach combines creativity and educational play to engage young minds. This stems from many of my hobbies which include writing (both short fiction and poetry), art and character design, reading, and I'm an avid player of D&D. I believe in open communication with parents, using their preferred method, to ensure a collaborative partnership in their child's upbringing. As a caregiver, I am committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and enriching experience for every child who may fall under my care.
