About Nicholas

Hello, My name is Nick and I currently work as a data analyst for a private lending company, but have developed a passion for tutoring. I attended L. C. Bird, a magnet high school, and graduated from Virginia Tech with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering. My interest in tutoring all started when I met my wife and tutored her in college-level statistics and research methods. I then began tutoring several students at the high school level in math and chemistry. Despite my limited experience in the professional education setting, I have acquired the skills and dedication for teaching through the aforementioned tutoring jobs. Additionally, I have informal training in tutoring through my wife, who has accrued much knowledge in the education field over the course of her career. Thank you for your time in reading my bio!
