I began my journey in childcare in 2018, working at a daycare with children ages 2-5. My responsibilities included tutoring, potty training, feeding, and fostering their early development. During this time, l discovered my passion and decided to pursue a career in education. I became a certified substitute teacher through the Missouri DESE program. I travel across the state of Missouri, teaching students from Pre-K to 12th grade. I work with children from diverse backgrounds, special needs, children with learning disabilities, and those with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). I love babysitting in my spare time. Teaching has shaped me into a patient, creative, and adaptable caregiver. I bring a nurturing, compassionate, and loving spirit to every child I care for. I am, organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at creating engaging and educational activities tailored to each child's needs. Nia was Amazing with the care of our 19 month old son. She was prompt and on time. Her experience working with children of all ages is Impeccable! She took great care of our son for many hours while me and my Husband had an overdue date day and evening out. With our first time using care.com we felt comfortable with her niceness, her calmness and undeniable love for children. We were able to have a good time and not have to worry.
