About Nia

Hi! My name is Nia, I just moved to Corvallis mid-year last year and go to school at OSU online. I am 22 and have been working with kids since I was 17! I have specialized in working with kids with disabilities at home, school, and in clinical settings but have worked with kids who do not as well. I would love to provide help to your family! I am patient, calm, and creative, and I believe in fostering a friendly and approachable environment for the children in my care. Effective communication is key, so I keep parents updated on their child's day verbally at pickup and through regular texts or calls, adapting to their preferred method. With my experience and qualifications, including First Aid Training, CPR Training, and coursework in Early Child Development, I am comfortable caring for up to two children of varying age groups, from 4 to 5, 6 to 11, and even teenagers. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation, as well as light housekeeping tasks.
