About Nia

Hello, My name is Nia, nice to meet you! I am a patient tutor, childcare provider, and happy lifelong learner with experience working with various ages and backgrounds. I also have experience working with neurodivergent children/adults (ADHD, autism, etc.), students with physical and/or mental health conditions, and other disabilities. I have assisted individuals with learning/communicating utilizing an AAC device. I have also worked with lgbtqia+ children/families and diverse families. I try to be flexible and I am happy communicating with adults while they are out (via text, call, or video chat). I hold two BA degrees in psychology and sociology, my MS in Clinical Neuroscience, and currently working completing my MS in clinical mental health counseling. Neurodivergent myself, I aspire to be a clinical mental health counselor and researcher.
