About Nia

Hello to parents and guardians! I'd describe my personality as silly, creative, and supportive. I like working with kids because it is exciting to learn about them and their interests. I am currently a student at Towson University. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my college schedule and commitments. I started working with kids when I was in early middle school. I volunteered with the children's ministry program in my church where I would create arts and crafts activities, read stories, play games with them, and help foster friendships between the other children in the program. In my spare time, I like to draw, exercise, and work on DIY projects. One thing you should know about me is I grew up with two older siblings with developmental disabilities. because of this I understand how important patience, boundaries, empathy are to children and adults alike My skills include coming up with creative activities, and listening to their needs and concerns.
