About Nia

Hello everyone:) my name is Nia(She/Her) and I am a mixed media painter in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. I teach K-12 arts curriculum in visual arts and arts integration. I am looking for a full or part time opportunity to help with the care of a family and to hopefully care for youth that have an interest in art or science. I love the outdoors and as it gets warmer, walks are a common pastime of mine. I attend art demos and classes on occasion weekly but have a relatively open weekday availability and I'm flexible for weekend hours as well. I have a 2-year-old kitty at home and I am allergic to his lovely self and couple of other minor substances so I'm familiar with allergy care and prevention steps. I'm comfortable navigating city commuting via public transport and walking with youth. Previously, I've facilitated 4-6 grade camp recess trips, high school field trips, and attending afternoon activities. I'm happy to provide references and more about me upon request!
