About Nevaeh

I like working with kids because I'm one of the oldest of over 20 grandchildren and caring for them has just become part of my nature. I think seeing kids growing up and developing their personality is such a beautiful thing to see and gives me confidence that they'll grow up to be wonderful people. I started working with kids when I was in 7th grade. My mom was also a preschool teacher while I was growing up, so I volunteered in her classroom quite a bit as well as a 4th/5th grade classroom. I currently work as a paraprofessional at an elementary school, working mainly with kindergarten. I do spend plenty of time with other grades up to 6th though. In my spare time, I like to write. I write a lot of poetry, but I also have a love for screenwriting. Though, it's not currently in my plans to make a movie, I throughly enjoy writing scripts and learning the formatting and little details as I go.
