My educational philosophy is based on the teachings of Maria Montessori. I believe the Teacher, Environment, and Student all play an equal and necessary role in learning success. The teacher or tutor, their job, to be the perfect role model. The environment, designed for independence and positive learning. And finally the student, when placed in the environment and motivated by the teacher, is able to master each new concept with ease and success. I try to motivate my students by relating skills to student interests. Also, my naturally energetic personality holds student attention, while my love of teaching engages and makes learning fun for even the most reluctant student.
