I have enjoyed working with children with ASD, and other learning disabilities, ranging from preschool age through high school. In my experience, working with children with special needs, I have grown to love my job. I am a caring, compassionate and patient worker. Working in this field, you discover the many challenges and great difficulties that these children face daily. Now I have become passionate about helping them to overcome these challenges. Playing a role in a child's progress or success has been a great rewarding experience. For the past 9 years, I have been working in different school classroom environments, supporting teachers and students with special needs. I've worked one-on-one, supporting students with autism, who are verbal or non-verbal, and assisting them in meeting goals.
