Hi, I'm Nenia, a 46-year-old woman & I've been nannying for 12 yrs. I am currently nannying for one wonderful family I've been with for 2 yrs, they have a beautiful 2 month & rambunctious 2 yr old Then I have another family I was with for 3 years, but with the school year starting, the youngest is now entering his 1st year of full day school, ending my 3 yrs with them. So, I'm looking to fill those lost 8-10 hrs, available to start immediately, prefer Mon or Fri, hrs. flexible. I have experience with other families which I'm happy to tell you all about. Before I decided to switch things up and become a nanny, I was a full-time paralegal. I am responsible and open minded and I go with the flow and feel of the family. Nenia has worked as a nanny part time for 8 years which has given me great peace of mind. My son has ADHD and structure, boundaries and clear expectations are important when working with a child with his special needs. Nenia is creative and fun, firm yet loving and supportive with my son. She knows how to work with my son so that he is successful in school and home while continuing to build his self esteem with positive reinforcement. I have never been disappointed with how Nenia has handled any particular behavioral or academic concerns. She helps with homework as needed including large projects. She keeps him engaged and on task, assists him in working through difficult tasks so that he learns to problem solve through critical thinking. She prepares healthy snacks for him and has taken very good care of him when ill, administering medication as needed. She has always been flexible, reliable and her integrity has exceeded my expectations making her an invaluable asset to our family.
