We had emailed and talked to Nelteisha and then finally met her. She seemed upbeat and smart and we were looking forward to working with her. She was booked to work Feb 12. She texted me to say that she and her children had contracted covid the afternoon of the 12 and she could not work that night. I told her to text me when she was feeling better. I have reached out to her 4 times since then, asking if she was still interested in the position. I believe I deserved a text telling me she was not interested in the position. This leads me to question her level of maturity and sense of responsibility.
