I have over 20 years experience with childcare and the experience as mother too. I enjoy spending time with children, doing various activities with them such as taking them outside in the park. Also painting, reading to the children, story telling, sharing stories, singing with them. I cherish the time I have with children and see it beautiful to see them grow and mature. Additionally, I have experience caring for a child with special needs who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome, a genetic disorder resulting in skeletal abnormalities that complicate basic physical movements and feeding. As I go through exercises with her to practice using her muscles, I am happy to say that she is now beginning to move her arms herself and hold her own bottles and dolls! This experience has been very rewarding, as I have seen her grow and developed a close relationship with her as we work together. Seeing children change and grow is an overall wonderful experience!

Nella was part of our family for over 5 years. She raised both of my sons, two boys (now ages 5 and 3) since they came out of the hospital. Nella is the absolute most wonderful, loving, hardest working, kindest, reliable trustworthy nanny. I get teary as I write this review. My children love her. She loves my children. We are two full time working parents, and to have complete peace of mind for over 5 years that I know my boys are in the very best hands, was irreplaceable. I am indebted to Nella. Alas, our needs have changed. Our two boys go to school full time, and Nella deserves to be with a family that can fill her hours more than we can. Not only is Nella an expert and loving and trustworthy, she is also punctual, reliable and considerate. She never ONCE (not ONCE!) called in sick for over 5 years. She was considerate of my role as the mother - checking in with me, checking on how I wanted certain things done, and respecting my role as the parent. There is no one better than Nella. The next family will be so very lucky to have her.
