About Nelli

I have cared for kids ages 0-14 in the past eight years of my professional experience as a live in nanny and Nanny. My responsibilities included everything from feeding bottles, changing diapers, bathing, involving in age appropriate activities/ crafts to teaching German, preparing meals, assisting with homework, light housekeeping and taking the kids to various activities such as story- times, music, soccer, basketball, yoga, play dates etc. I especially enjoyed being outdoors with the kids and making everyday moments a learning experience for them. I have three children of my own. My oldest and middle are in school during the day starting in August. My youngest is 2 and home with me. I would love to get back to work when the school year starts up again but need to find a family who is OK with me having my daughter around as well and who hopefully has a child around the same age. I'm open to come to your house or have you drop your child off at my house.

Nelli lived and worked for us from October 2008 to April 2010, but had to move back to Germany for about a year or so. When she came back to the Chicago area, she babysat for us from time to time. My daughter was 2, and my sons were 6 and 9 when she started. She is patient and kind with children, and is very confident in her abilities. Nelli was always punctual and took her job seriously. She is good with children of all ages because she can do it all -ranging from diapers to homework. My children are bursting with energy, and were not easy to handle, yet she did it without getting stressed out or angry with them. She spent most of her time with my 2 year old, and would always keep her busy and happy finding fun things to do. Nelli also cleaned up after the kids, and did their laundry. We keep in touch with her, and my kids still love her.
