About Nellie

Hello I'm Nellie! I have been a nanny for 6 years now, working with up to 5 children at a time (newborn to age 11). My responsibilities with older children revolve around playtime, nap time (if applicable), setting up age appropriate activities, playing outside, homework help, etc. With toddlers and new borns, I am always responsible with diaper changes, feedings/snacks, nap time and play time. In addition to typical nanny responsibilities, I am also happy to assist with tasks such as children's laundry and light cleaning to keep their space tidy, as well as meal prep. Your child's safety is important, I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a passion for childcare and would love to work with your family!

Nellie cared for my baby from 8 to 15 months while I worked and was more than we could ever ask for in a caregiver. She is loving, knows how to play and have fun with baby, attentive to detail, informed on best practices and developmental milestone, and puts the safety of baby first. My baby didn’t get along with all sitters, but with Nellie, she looked forward to her arrival. Nellie taught my baby so much through reading, play, eating, going outside, etc. and helped her practice walking once she was ready. She handled my baby’s naps well, even though my baby wasn’t entirely sleep trained and needed to be held for some naps. She gave me wise counsel when it came to teething, and would also help prepare lunches for baby and help with light household chores. What stands out the most to me is that she does everything with love and excellence, and any family that gets to work with her are in good hands!
