My name is Neissa. I am looking for a short time summer position before I start my LPN program this fall. I have been a nanny for around 5+ years for children all ages under 5. I've had experience working with children in classrooms and in home care. I will engage in needed active play time outside or fun learning activities. For infants and toddlers, I've had experience with sensory time, music and basic fundamentals. I have a real passion for working with children, and experiencing their growth and development. Being that I've been in the field for some time, I am certified for CPR and first aid training. I am more than willing to prepare meals if need be, provide transportation and light housekeeping. I am also fairly comfortable with pets in the home. I do wish to inform you that I am completely vaccinated for Covid and others. If you wish for me to get a test before starting, that arrangement can be made. Thank you for your time and consideration

Neissa made our visit to grandparents from out of town so easy! She cared for our 20 month old for about 5 hours one evening. We had had an early flight that morning, and there were a lot of changes for hi in one day, so when she arrived he was not in the best of moods. Neissa's calm presence and ability to meet him where he was made him feel calm. She kept him fed and in dry diapers, and took him on lots of walks. She communicated with me by text throughout with questions about what he wanted to eat or what his baby language meant to keep his needs met. My only regret is that Neissa does not live closer to our home town so we could have her again!
