About Nehemie

Hi! Thank you for viewing my profile. I am Nehemie and I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I now live in Fort Lauderdale. I am the last child of seven so, trust me when I say I know what a "never dull moment" looks like. I am very passionate, caring, creative, and funny (at least I like to think I am). My passion for caregiving stems from taking care of my brother with special needs. Because he not only laughed at my jokes, but he also said "Thank you Meme" during a time he struggled to speak. That awakened the momma bear in me and was the beginning of my 8 years of childcare experience which expands across all age groups including special needs. I am CPR, First Aid, Water-Safety, and Women of Excellence certified. I've worked with families, volunteered at preschools, and even worked for organizations like Camp Erin (a bereavement camp for children). My passion and the chance to make a difference in a child's life is what makes me truly happy.
