My paid experience involves feeding horses at a riding center and sheep. But I have lived with dogs, cats, and horses my whole childhood. There has always been at least 1 dog and cat in the house, some excitable, some shy, and some that want eternal belly rubs. My parents always let other dogs over some were better socialized than others. Some tried to steal food, others I had to pet until they calmed down enough to eat. If they weren't socialized well we would have to keep our animals and their animals separated in different rooms. Safe to say I know thing or to about being a dog diplomat.
