About Naylea

I'd describe my personality as calm, creative, and approachable. I grew up with a lot of kids in my family! Working with kids is very gratifying work, I enjoy watching them grow more comfortable and express their own personalities/interests. I started working with kids during the pandemic, when many children had school from home and parents were away at work. I'm looking for a job that isn't shy to give me instruction! Everyone prefers different things in terms of child care and it's helpful to have open conversations about what works for you. In my spare time, I like to paint and read! I got my Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts at RISD so a lot of my free time is dedicated to preparing sketches for paintings! One thing you should about me is that I am both an extrovert and an introvert! I totally understand children that need some more alone time as well as children that might want to interact more actively. My skills include parent communication, planning, and patience.
