About Nayla

I achieved my AA in special needs/childhood development. I am a fluent speaker in both Spanish and Arabic, with reading and writing skills in the former. My experience includes 10 years plus in childcare, working with children ages 1 through 16, including children with autism and delayed learners. As a mother of three now-adult boys, I have excellent skills in managing a bustling household, balancing varying schedules, cooking healthy and delicious multicultural meals and even baking! I strive to incorporate learning seamlessly with fun play, drawing out children's creative side, imagination, and social skills. My previous families would agree that I am especially mindful of family dynamics, boundaries, and privacy. I have worked in a Domestic Violence Shelter. I was a support counselor for both woman and children. We incorporated dog therapy, art therapy and creative play. Above all, I'm blessed to do what I love every day of my life and that's being a nanny!
