About Navya

I have been teaching piano to children ages 6-15 for the last five years. From a young age I was personally very receptive to teaching that focused on creativity, song writing, self-expression and fun. This is has led to me developing a teaching style that makes learning the basics fun, splitting lesson time between personal development/songwriting/style exploration and instrument mastery. My methods have yielded beautiful results in children developing skills in the highest form that they will remember forever, growing passionate for their new craft and holistically understanding the music of their world with a trained ear and open mind! My teaching style is one that holds empathy in the highest regard. I will work with your child, their personality and ability to create lesson plans that are rigorous, personalized, and creative.
