I am a 21 years old engineering student (sophomore) and I love being a sitter because I enjoy helping others. As a young boy, I often babysit for 2-3 neighbors and family friends. One of my regular experiences was looking after a little girl named E, who loved playing with her building blocks and reading storybooks before bedtime. I also took care of a pair of very energetic twins, who enjoyed outdoor activities like playing tag and riding their bikes. During these babysitting sessions, I learned how to manage multiple tasks, such as preparing snacks, helping with homework, and ensuring the kids followed their bedtime routines. These experiences actually taught me responsibility, patience, and communication, which are essential in my role as a caregiver.
